What is HATAGO NAGOMI?
In ancient times, HATAGO was a location where travelers would spend the night. Visitors can enjoy a modern room that has been restored while yet feeling the spirit of traditional Japanese culture. Nagomi is all about discovering inner quiet, peace, and tranquility, and then extending that to the rest of the world.

What is Oku-Nikko?
Located in the heart of Nikko, Oku Nikko is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Oku Nikko was designated as a national park by the Japanese government.
Oku Nikko offers the opportunity to experience all four seasons. Winter activities in winter, flowers and greenery in spring, and an average temperature of 25°C in the summer. The autumn season brings with it beautiful colors.
The autumn season is the most crowded in Oku nikko. Sometimes cars in traffic waited for three hours to reach their destination in Oku Nikko.

Dining Information
To create savory treats that our customers will remember, we use genuine Nikkos’ ingredients in our cuisines. Our Japanese chef Kawabe has poured his heart into these authentic meals, crafting them with great care.
Meals are served in our cozy restaurant on the second floor. Please let us know at the time of reservation if you have any specific meal requirements. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. (We are very sorry that requests regarding meal changes for gluten allergies and vegan menus cannot be accommodated due to unavoidable circumstances.)
To accommodate our restaurant`s capacity, meals will be served in two shifts. Our hotel offers a Japanese course menu for dinner, while breakfast is served buffet-style, featuring both Japanese and Western dishes.
Meal times are allocated based on the order of guest arrivals.

Hot spring baths, or onsen, offer incredible benefits! Their mineral-rich waters can soothe sore muscles, improve blood circulation, relieve stress, and support skin health. Additionally, the warm temperature promotes relaxation, eases joint pain, and can improve overall well-being. It’s a natural way to rejuvenate both body and mind.
Experience this ultimate relaxation with our Oku Nikko hot spring baths, available exclusively at our hotel.Both women’s and men’s hot springs feature indoor hot springs and outdoor natural hot springs.
Indoor hot spring uses warm water sourced from Chuuzenji Lake.
While the natural hot spring contains sulfuric water from Yumoto hot springs.Our guests can enjoy hot springs within the opening time without any reservations.

Three car parks
The first one is in front of our hotel (nearest to the hotel entrance; we will collect the car key at the front desk accordingly.)
The second one is behind the hotel. (Guests can keep the car key themselves.)
Our staff will move your car to the third parking space due to the car park’s distance from the hotel.
Access
BY BUS
You can take the local bus from Nikko City to our hotel. The number 1 bus stop is in front of the JR Nikko station. And the number 2 bus stop is in front of Tobu Nikko station. And the last bus is at 18.02 p.m. from JR Nikko station.
There are two buses, and one is from JR NIKKO to CHUUZENJI ONSEN. If you come by this bus, you have to get off at the 26th bus stop since it is the last bus stop.
When coming on foot from 26th bus stop, please walk straight ahead, facing Chuuzenji Lake. Pass the red color gate. Walk until you see the following name board of our hotel on your right side. It is around 10 minutes by foot from 26th bus stop to our hotel.
And the other bus is from JR NIKKO to YUMOTO ONSEN. If you come by this bus, please get off at the 28th bus stop. The nearest bus stop to our hotel is the 28th bus stop (Fune no eki—Chuuzenji).
When coming on foot from the 28th bus stop, please walk backward around 10 meters from the 28th bus stop. Then you will see the name board ‘Ha Ta Go なごみ‘ of our hotel on your left side. It is one minute by foot from the 28th bus stop to our hotel.
When coming BY TAXI
If you like, you can take a taxi from Nikko to our hotel. The taxi fare will range from 8,000 yen to 9,000 yen these days. The taxi station is located in front of the Tobu Nikko station.
Taxis are available until 23.00 p.m.
NIKKO ALL AREA PASS
If you come by bus, we recommend purchasing the Nikko All Area pass. It is very convenient, allowing unlimited travel by both bus and train using the same pass. (You will have to buy tickets separately for the express trains.)

1. Can I leave my luggage at the hotel prior to check in or after I check out?
We can keep your luggage at the front desk whenever you want.
2. Do any of the hotel staff speak English?
Please be assured that our staff will assist you with English. Additionally, we have staff who speak Japanese and Spanish.
3. Is there a smoking room?
We do not have a smoking room inside the hotel. Our smoking area is near the entrance of the hotel.
4. Is there an elevator?
We do not have an elevator. Please be assured that our staff will assist you with your luggage.
5. Is there a convenience store nearby?
There is no convenience store nearby our hotel. There is a supermarket named MIMURAYA within 10 minutes by foot. They are closed on every Sunday. They are open from 9.00 a.m. to 20.00 p.m. on other days.
6. Is there a microwave that we can use?
There is a microwave available at the café on the 1st floor that our guests can use whenever they want.
7. Is there an ATM machine nearby?
There is a Japan Postal Bank within 5 minutes by foot. They have an ATM machine that is open from 7.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
